Yam Cheese Bread Recipe

Ingredients for making yam cheese bread:

 200 grams of yam

 ½ cup of sour sprinkles

 2 tablespoons of oil

 1 cup of mozzarella

 salt

How to make yam cheese bread:

Separate the ingredients that, believe me, are just these: yams, olive oil, sour powder, cheese and salt. Here we use mozzarella but you can also choose Parmesan, Minas cheese or any other type you have at home.

Start by washing, peeling and cutting the yams into smaller pieces for faster cooking. Place in a pressure cooker with enough water to cover all the pieces. Cook for 15 minutes from the time the pan beeps or until tender.

Then, with the yam still hot, mash it with a fork or pass it through a juicer.

Then mix all the other ingredients and start kneading with your hands. Add the sprinkles little by little - you might use a little less than 1/2 cup.

The dough should be very smooth, loosening from the hands and at the ideal point for rolling.

Take some of the dough and make a ball. Repeat the process with the rest of the dough and place in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes or until the cheese buns are golden brown.

Tip: It is important to leave a space between the balls as they inflate in the oven.
